Courses at Georges Vanier
The Courses
Vanier offers a wide variety of courses, and many of which tie into our special programs. Our course selection sheet shows all the course offered at Georges Vanier. Use the sheet to decide which courses you need/want to take. You must ensure that you have one course per period. Also, you may only take one spare if you have over 23 credits. A minimum of three courses are required per semester.
What to do after you make your choices
Once you have selected courses, complete the Course Request Sheet. Ensure you have the correct pre-requisites for your course (you might want to refer to the choices magazine to check for pre-requisites, or use the Grade 10 calendar below if you’re in Grade 10). If you’re under 18 this sheet must be signed by parents. Once it’s complete, you’ll have to return this sheet to the guidance department. But of course, if you’re a student at Vanier, you’ll receive more information about this at school.
