The Business Studies Program will build a strong foundation for those who wish to move on to further study and training in specialized areas such as management, international business, marketing, accounting, information and communication technology, or entrepreneurship.

Math and Sciences Department
To study Science is to undertake a quest for where we come from, who we are, and where we are going. Science studies can lead to post-secondary studies in Medicine and the Health Sciences, Engineering Science, Environmental Science, and Architectural Science.
Furthermore, beyond providing a full mathematics programs, the math department successfully coaches interested students in writing the Cayley, Fermat, and Euclid math competitions, as well as the Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge offered by the University of Waterloo.

Social Studies Department
At Georges Vanier Secondary School the study of History is a wonderful voyage of discovery to seek the evolution of past civilizations, to explore the human experience in the past and to observe and critically assess man’s achievement. Likewise, developing a geographical imagination will give you the capacity to understand the changing patterns, changing processes and changing relationships among peoples, places, and regions. Moreover, the scope of the Family Studies field allows the development of a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of Georges Vanier students.
