What is MSc.com
MSc.com stands for Math, Science and Communication technology. It is an enriched program package with an emphasis on Mathematics, Science, Computer Science and Communication Technology.
Within a specialized multi-media lab students develop

Benefits
All students learn problem-solving, critical thinking and information processing skills. All students in the MSc.com program have the same core subjects. This allows the students to develop life-long friendships and build a sense of teamwork. Students also improve their skills in the subject areas of mathematics, science, computer science, communication technology, career exploration and leadership. MSc.com students can also participate in one week camping trips to Kearney, Ontario for extremely beneficial team building and leadership camps.
MSc.com students have access to labs with up-to-date equipment, with over 20 labs on site. For example, the communication technology has several iMacs, and all run the latest Mac OS X operating system, Photoshop CS3 and many other high end software.

MSc.com students are be better prepared for meeting life and career goals in our rapidly changing technological world. As a result of the exposure to focused courses and curriculum, the program allows for students to pursue careers in engineering, science, architecture, computer science, aerospace, engineering technology, information technology and avionics.
Subjects
Students take the MSc.com program package (mathematics, science, computer science and communication technology) from one to three years. They can combine this package with their core compulsory subjects and also choose the desired options from the course calendar. Vanier has over 150 courses. MSc.com students can also qualify to write senior advanced placement exams.

Reward and Recognition
In addition to receiving their OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) all MSc.com students receive Certificates of Distinction as they proceed through the program. Students are also eligible for scholarships and awards at the school and university level.
How to apply
All applicants must demonstrate interest as well as academic ability and aptitude. Teacher referrals and interviews are also required. Application forms can be downloaded from our website, or can be obtained at the guidance office.
